INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Governor Mike Braun is naming Jennifer Dorfmeyer as the new director of the Indiana Department of Child Services. She has been the acting director since January, when former director Adam Krupp took medical leave in mid-January.
Krupp will be returning to work in Indianapolis as a special advisor to Braun on child welfare issues. Dorfmeyer was previously the chief deputy director of the department and spent a decade at a nonprofit supporting kids with emotional and behavioral challenges.
