HUNTINGTON CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – INDOT has announced the beginning of construction for an intersection of U.S. 24 in Huntington.
Starting on or after May 6, crews will begin the construction of slotted left turns on U.S. 24 at the intersections of C.R. 200 W and N. Broadway Street. Work on the intersections is expected to be complete by the end of June.
All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During construction, the left lane of U.S. 24 will be closed in each direction. The speed limit will also be reduced in the area with a width restriction of 16 feet.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free in all work zones.
