FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department says it is looking for a man wanted in connection to the January shooting deaths of two teenagers. (Original story below)
The FWPD describes Dionee K. White, 21, as 6’01”, weighing 155 lbs, with brown eyes and dreads or hair that may have been cut short. He also has a tattoo on his neck.
Police say that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

UPDATE (February 1, 2024):
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified the two people, both teenagers, who were shot and killed Monday night in Fort Wayne.
They were 17-year-old Adaija Okey of Fort Wayne and 18-year-old Lamarion Bailey of LaGrange, Georgia. The two were found shot in a parked car around 8 p.m. close to East State and Parnell. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspects have been arrested.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office released the following:
On Monday, January 29th, 2024, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting in the 700 block of Romy Avenue, in Fort Wayne. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim was identified as Lamarion Jeremiah Bailey, 18, male, Black of LaGrange, Georgia.
Notification has been made to the legal next of kin and an autopsy has been completed. The Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the Manner of Death is Homicide. Lamarion Jeremiah Bailey is the 4th Homicide for Allen County in 2024. The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

ORIGINAL STORY:
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne Police Department officials say that two people are dead following a shooting around 8 Monday night.
It happened close to East State and Parnell. Officers responded to the 700 block of Romy Avenue and found an adult male and an underage girl inside a vehicle who had both been shot.
When paramedics arrived both were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released yet.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
FWPD officials released the following:
On January 29, 2024, at 7:59pm, the Fort Wayne Police Department received calls reporting gunshots in the 700 block of Romy Ave. As officers were responding, an additional caller stated there was at least one person shot inside of a vehicle that was on the street. Officers arrived and indeed located two persons suffering from apparent gunshot wound(s) inside of a vehicle. Paramedics arrived and pronounced an adult male and a juvenile female deceased.
At this time, it is unknown what led to the shooting. Detectives are currently canvasing the area, looking for any evidence or video surveillance. Crime Scene technicians are searching for and processing any evidence.
There are currently no suspects. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
The cause and manner of death, as well as the identity of the decedents, will be released by the Allen County Coroner’s Office. This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
