INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The U.S. Department of Labor says initial filings for unemployment in Indiana were lower last week.
Those were at 2,788 for the week that ended March 30 compared to 3,137 the week before.
The state with the largest percentage increase in claims was Iowa, where those were up 97-point-eight percent. Indiana had remained steady for about 6 months in unemployment claims.
