OSSIAN, Ind. (ADAMS) – A 20-year-old St. Joe woman was hospitalized after she crashed her vehicle into a house in DeKalb County Sunday afternoon.
after losing control Sunday afternoon on State Road 1 in DeKalb County.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Becca E. Scribner, 20, was driving her Nissan Altima on the 6900 block of State Road 1, when she went off the snow covered road and into a nearby home.
She was treated for pain and bruising.
The vehicle was a total loss. No word on the cost of damages to the house.
Police believe speed played a factor in the crash.
