WATCH: Dog rescued from freezing local creek

PAULDING, Ohio (ADAMS) – A dramatic rescue was caught on camera today, after a dog fell through the ice into Flat Rock Creek across from the sheriff’s office in Paulding.

Paulding County Progress Newspaper posted this video of Fire and EMS crews working to save the dog, named Cyclops.

They work bravely to rescue the dog from the freezing temperatures. And according to the Paulding County Progress Newspaper report, all the responders were also okay after saving the dog in the cold temperatures.

He reportedly opened the fence gate and escaped from his owners before falling through the ice.  According to the paper, Cyclops is “okay, just cold and wet.”
