WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Tyler Trent’s legacy lives on through a new book and extended cancer research. The book titled, “The Upset” went on sale yesterday, chronicling the Purdue Superfan’s battle with bone cancer. His father, Tony Trent says his son’s positive attitude captivated the nation.
The Purdue Center for Cancer Research also announced yesterday they’re currently studying Trent’s cancer cells. After passing away in January, Trent donated his tumors to help find the cure. A portion of The Upset’s proceeds will go toward fighting cancer and helping families who have been affected by the disease.
