“Unfortunately, the Shelly Dixon Band cannot join the Embassy this Wednesday at the weekly entertainment series Summer Nights at the Embassy. However, Sunny Taylor, a local favorite has offered to step in. She was scheduled to perform at the July 8 event and had to cancel. The Embassy is glad to have her back.

The 2020 Summer Nights at the Embassy season runs every Wednesday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. through September 9. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the first set plays at 6 p.m. The series focuses on musical performances by local artists. Shigs In Pit serves food onsite from 6 to 8 p.m. for the entire series. A cash bar is available. Access to the rooftop patio is available each week (weather permitting). Please note that the rooftop is accessible to persons with disabilities.

Single tickets are $5 each. Purchase tickets at the STAR Bank box office by calling 260.424.5665 or through ticketmaster.com. Free live streaming access can be enjoyed on the website at 8 p.m. each Wednesday (last musical set).”

Due to social distancing, the Embassy is capping capacity at 45 patrons in the facility at a given time. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to guarantee access to each event.
All events at the Embassy Theatre have limited capacity.

The Embassy says it has thorough protocols and staff training in place to reduce exposure to COVID-19. Representatives say to expect social distancing, face coverings on staff and vendors, one-way traffic patterns, paperless and touchless interactions whenever possible and rigorous cleaning and sanitizing. They are encouraging guests to wear their own face coverings and to stay home if they are not feeling well. The statement went on to remind patrons of the risks of attending. “While the Embassy works hard to reduce exposure to COVID-19, the public is assuming the inherent risk of possible exposure,” continued the press release.
