A global pandemic really adds a whole new layer to committing crimes.
There’s a 20-year-old guy named Joseph Baker from Bloomington, Indiana. And he was busted for drunk driving last Wednesday.
But that wasn’t his only charge. Because on Wednesday, Indiana’s stay-at-home order went into effect. And Joseph didn’t have a valid reason for why he was violating the order by driving.
So, he was also charged with violating the order . . . which has a maximum penalty of a $1,000 fine and six months in prison on top of his drunk driving charges.
While they qualify as a stupid criminal, surely their loved ones would still want them on the right side of a jail cell.
