Silver Alert canceled for missing Fort Wayne man

UPDATE: The search for a missing Fort Wayne man has been called off.  Just before 7 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, Indiana State Police released the following:

“Silver Alert 052-2019 issued on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 on James Wilson Miller has been cancelled as of Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 6:57 am as requested by the investigating agency.”

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) –  A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a missing local man.

The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating the disappearance of James Wilson Miller, a 35-year-old white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 207 pounds, brown hair with blue eyes, and last seen wearing a black hat, blue shirt with a car and writing on it, jean shorts, short black socks, and black/green shoes.  James has a scar on the front of his neck from a trach tube.

James is missing from Fort Wayne, Indiana which is 120 miles northeast of Indianapolis and was last seen on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 6:55 pm.  He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
