Resurfacing on I-69 in Allen, DeKalb Counties starts Tuesday

ALLEN AND DEKALB COUNTIES, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that Interstate 69 in Allen and DeKalb counties is scheduled to be resurfaced on or after Tuesday, May 28, weather permitting. The resurface work will take place during overnight hours between mile marker 316 in Allen County and mile marker 325 in DeKalb County.

Overnight, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., drivers are cautioned to watch for lane restrictions and possible stopped vehicles in the construction zone. INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through any active work zone. A speed limit of 60 mph will be in effect when workers are present and will be strictly enforced. Some daytime work may be needed, as well.
