Public invited to welcome home event for Addison Agen at FWA

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – After an impressive showing on NBC’s ‘The Voice’, Addison Agen will return to Fort Wayne Wednesday night.

Addison is a student at Concordia Lutheran High School and they are planning a ‘welcome home’ gathering for her. Ashley Wiehe, Communications Manager for Concordia, says Addison’s plane is expected to land at Fort Wayne International Airport Wednesday night at 10:30 p.m. The public is invited to the airport for the show of support and even encouraged to bring signs. If you would like to be there to welcome Addison home, you are asked to be in the lobby of the airport by 10:15 p.m. FWA is offering a free parking pass to the first 100 cars at the Airport Visitor Center.

Addison was the runner-up on Tuesday’s finale of ‘The Voice’ on NBC, after a season on the show that gave the Fort Wayne native multiple top ten songs on the iTunes chart. After Monday’s live show, the three songs she performed were in the top 15, including an original song called “Tennessee Rain”.
