HUNTINGTON CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of part of U.S. 224 between State Street and Riverside Drive.
Crews are scheduled to begin a bridge deck overlay starting on or after April 10.
Work is expected to wrap up by the beginning of September. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the posted detour of U.S. 24, State Road 9, State Road 124, State Road 5, and I-69, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
