Police identify victims in early 2018 shootings, stabbing

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne Police have now identified the men involved in a violent start to the new year.
Officers reported to the 2300 block of W. Main Street around 12:30 a.m. Monday where an adult male was found in a car suffering from stab wounds.

Police say 22-year-old Mark Allen McVay of Uniondale, Indiana, is still listed in Critical Condition and 22-year-old Cody Alan Stinson of Woodburn, Indiana has been arrested in connection to the stabbing.

Police are holding him on a preliminary charge of Aggravated Battery

A short time later, police responded to Hobo’s Bar and Grill on the 2700 block W. Jefferson Street. The call came at approximately 2:45 a.m. Monday morning for two men who had been shot.

Fort Wayne Police say that 28-year-old Dashawn Dutreal Jones of Fort Wayne, is in Critical Condition and 25-year-old Thristian Michael Boykin Sr. of Fort Wayne, is in Fair Condition.

No arrests have been made in this shooting. Police say it is still “very active” and ongoing.
