LAGRANGE CO. (Ind. (ADAMS) – The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a man who is wanted on several charges stemming from an incident on Wednesday.
Officials say that officers were called to a home on the 10,000 block of E 050 N in LaGrange after a man was reported to be armed and making suicidal threats following some kind of domestic disturbance. Police said the initial call was placed by the victim.
The Auburn City SWAT and Steuben SRT team made it into the home but the man was not there. He is believed to have fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.
It’s unclear exactly what led to charges but the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office says that the man, identified as Joshua Allen, is now wanted for domestic battery and several other counts.

The following was issued by the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office:
On 05/03/2023 the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a domestic disturbance at the residence located at 10395 E 050 N LaGrange, IN. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with victim, whom identified that there was a male suspect inside the residence and possibly armed and suicidal.

The Auburn City SWAT and Steuben SRT team was utilized to make entry into the residence. The suspect was not located in the house and it is believed that he fled on foot from the area before police arrival. This matter is still under investigation at this time.
This was an isolated incident.
Charges of Intimidation with a firearm, Invasion of privacy, Domestic battery and Strangulation are being sought for Joshua Alan Wilson. Anyone with any information about his whereabouts should contact the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office at (260) 463-7491.
