DEKALB CO, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of a portion of State Road 8 east of Avilla.
Starting on or after April 3, crews will be working on the bridge over Little Cedar Creek. Construction is expected to last until the end of July.
INDOT reminds that all work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the posted detour of State Road 327, State Road 205 and State Road 3, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
