FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A man accused of helping to set up a robbery is under arrest. Police say that Marlon Cooper, 19, was taken into custody at Indiana Tech after he allegedly helped in a dorm room robbery on March 15.
WANE-TV reports that Cooper is suspected of working with someone else who has not yet been identified or arrested.
The FWPD released the following:
On March 21st, 2023, the FWPD Robbery Unit and the FWPD Homicide Unit executed two search warrants at a dormitory on Indiana Tech’s Campus located at 1600 E. Washington Blvd. relating to a previous reported robbery on campus. During the execution of both warrants, Marlon Cooper was taken into custody on campus without incident and charged with Assisting a Criminal (3 Counts). This investigation is active and ongoing and anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact the FWPD Robbery Division Det. Andy Noll (260)427-1498.
