UPDATE (May 5, 2022):
COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – The Ohio Redistricting Commission is once again submitting maps already rejected by the Ohio Supreme court.
The panel voted four to three yesterday evening to approve its third set of legislative layouts that were struck down in March. The court had set 9:00 a.m. this morning as the deadline to submit district maps that avoided what they ruled as gerrymandering by Republican lawmakers.
A federal court has previously decided that this set of maps would be put in place if no other solution was established before May 28th.

UPDATE (April 29, 2022):
COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – The Ohio Redistricting Commission says they plan to reconvene on May 4.
The commission is facing a May 6 deadline to once again re-draw Ohio legislative district maps.
A federal court panel has also ruled that it will put in place a version of the district layouts already rejected by the Ohio Supreme Court if new maps are not adopted by May 28th.
The ACLU has filed a state supreme court motion to find the commission in contempt.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – The Ohio Redistricting Commission is submitting updated legislative maps to the Ohio Supreme Court.
Republican Senate President Matt Huffman made a motion to offer the court “modified” versions of previously-rejected district layouts in a session last night.
Republicans on the commission voted in favor of the move, passing it four to three.
House Speaker Robert Cupp says changes to maps move one Senate district and two House districts to Democrat-leaning populations.
