Man killed in fiery crash identified

WOODBURN, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Allen County Coroner has released the identity of a man killed in a fiery crash on the 26000 block of Gore Road, close to the Indiana-Ohio border.

Monday, October 30th, the body of 38-year-old Robert Wayne Bruss was pulled from the remains of a vehicle that caught fire. He was pronounced dead at the scene. After the completion of deoxyribonucleic acid examination, the body was been identified as Robert Wayne Bruss, male, white, of Antwerp, Ohio.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office said then that Bruss died of blunt force injury and smoke inhalation due to the crash.

No other information on the crash has been released.
