BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (ADAMS) – There are some questions about IU Health’s $400 million dollar donation to the IU School of Medicine.
The Indianapolis Business Journal was the first to report on the donation which was quietly tucked into an IU Health financial report earlier this month.
The questions come as IU Health is facing other questions about its profits and prices.
The donation drops IU Health’s profits to under a billion dollars. The hospital says the $416 million dollar contribution helps it support the school of medicine in a ‘more meaningful way.’
