ISP hiring for custodian at Fort Wayne post

 

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – If you’re looking for a job, The Indiana State Police might have a spot for you.   ISP is accepting applications for the position of building custodian, a position which is available at the Fort Wayne Post.

According to Indiana State Police, successful applicants must be able to maintain the State Police building facilities and surrounding grounds.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required as well as the ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning duties.  The operation of cleaning, mowing and maintenance equipment is also required.

Must be able to lift, carry or move heavy objects and to climb, stoop, bend or kneel as necessary.  The ability to work outside during adverse weather conditions as well as to work with chemicals and other hazardous items is necessary.  Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to follow instructions.

Pay starts at $18,460 per year.
