Indiana relaxing rules for nursing home visits

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – People living in some Indiana nursing homes will soon see visitors again.

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration says closing nursing homes across the state to visitors may have helped slow the spread of the coronavirus, but it did little for the people living there.

Visitors will now be allowed if there are no new coronavirus cases for two weeks at the home, if there is enough PPE, and if everyone is screened before their visit.
