INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Governor Holcomb is focusing on COVID-19 recovery as we enter 2021.

He asked state lawmakers to support a regional development initiative during his virtual State of the State Address last night. The program would work to improve the quality of place and economic efforts for cities and counties statewide.

Governor Holcomb marked a 10-second moment of silence for Hoosiers who have died from coronavirus amid the pandemic.

Governor Holcomb also said that he is planning to spend more money on teacher paychecks this year.
Holcomb gave his State of the State speech last night.

He also wants to provide small businesses with grants to help them recover from the pandemic. Democrats at the Capitol say the governor isn’t looking to spend enough.
