GM-UAW talks sour, no deal in sight

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – It could be a while before GM workers in Fort Wayne get back to work. A number of reports say that talks between GM and the United Auto Workers took a turn for the worse over the weekend.

UAW Vice President Terry Dittes sent a letter to striking workers that said the latest offer from the carmaker does nothing to guarantee job security for union workers. It’s been three weeks since UAW workers at GM walked off the job.
