FWPD looking for credit union robber

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne police are looking for a man who held up a local credit union.
FWPD officials say that on Friday, just before 5 p.m., officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the Partner’s First Federal Credit Union, 6731 Old Trail Rd.

Officials say that initial information indicated the suspect entered the credit union and demanded money. The suspect then fled the credit union with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapons were displayed and there were no injuries.

Detectives canvassed the area, searching for witnesses and video surveillance from nearby buildings.
The suspect is described as a male white, mid-30s, long sleeve gray shirt, 6’2” to 6’4”, medium build. He is suspected to be driving a black or navy blue Chevrolet Trailblazer with tinted windows.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police. This remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
