Doctors fear flu shot shortage in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – As if people need one more thing to worry about this year.

Doctors say Indiana could be facing a flu shot shortage. More people are expected to get a flu shot this year, and if hospitals and clinics do not order their vaccines now, that could lead to a shortage.

Some hospitals say they are prepared, IU Health yesterday said it has ordered 200,000 flu shots.

Doctors are suggesting that everyone get a flu shot early this year, to avoid a double outbreak of the flu and the coronavirus.
