INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Regulatory Commission will be investigating utility profits and bill charges in an energy affordability report. They plan to recommend several legislative changes that they say will benefit customers who are struggling financially.
Commissioner Anthony Swinger says they will look at profits first and then look at how fluctuating charges known as trackers for fuel expenses will fit into the new regulatory structure.
