INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration is hiring 400 employees to check the eligibility of the 560,000 Hoosiers on the Healthy Indiana Plan.
FSSA spokesman Marcus Barlow says 50 people have been hired since the effort started last month.
The agency is working to comply with new work requirements from both the state and federal governments. Federal work requirements for Medicaid expansion programs like the Healthy Indiana Plan take effect January 1st next year.
