COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – Early voting is beginning today for Ohio’s May primaries.
State residents will be selecting their party’s candidates in races including Ohio governor, secretary of state, Ohio Supreme Court, and more.
Voters are able to visit all county board of elections offices across the state to cast early ballots during set hours.
There are also changes to Ohio’s absentee ballot rules beginning with this election. A previous grace period has been eliminated, meaning mail-in ballots will need to be in the hands of county officials by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, May 5th.
