FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for anyone with information about a man’s death to come forward. The FWPD says he was found outside of an apartment building close to Paulding and Hessen Cassal, Wednesday night, off Holgate Drive.
When officers arrived on the scene, they say they initiated CPR on the man, but it was too late. Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 260-427-1222, Crime Stoppers at 260-436-7867, or use the P3 Tips App.
The FWPD released the following:
Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department, along with medics and firefighters, responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious male behind an apartment building in the 6100 block of Holgate Drive. Upon arrival, officers initiated CPR on the adult male. Medics later arrived and pronounced him deceased. Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians are documenting the scene and collecting evidence to determine the manner of death.

This incident is being investigated by the FWPD Homicide Unit, Crime Scene, FWPD Air Support Unit, Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
