INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita is opposing a recent decision from President Trump.
The president signed an executive order on Thursday to accelerate the rescheduling of how marijuana is classified, from Schedule I to the decreased Schedule III.
Rokita joined attorneys general from several other states in speaking out against the reclassification.
Their statement says they believe the science surrounding marijuana properly establishes it as a Schedule I drug.
