FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A bill to create a new casino license for a gambling house in Fort Wayne is not before the Indiana House.
House Public Policy Committee chairman Ethan Manning says the hearing held Thursay is the starting point of the overall discussion, as there are four or five competing casino bills coming.
Some of the testimony heard was about transferring an existing casino license from southern to northern Indiana instead of creating a new one.
The committee will resume work in January on the bill.
