FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Allen County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of the man fatally stabbed at Pierre’s early Friday morning.
The autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the next of kin for the individual that was found deceased at Pierre’s Entertainment Center at 5629 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46835 on Friday, November 28th , 2025 at approximately 01:40. The decedent was pronounced deceased at the scene by Three Rivers Ambulance Authority Paramedics.
Identified was Jermichael Lamarkeyes James, a male, black, 28 years of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
James’s Cause of Death has been determined to be Stab and Incised Wounds of Torso, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Jermichael Lamarkeyes is the 33rd Homicide for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2025.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Prosecutor’s office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
The Fort Wayne Police Department released the following in the hours after the incident:
The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred during a concert at Piere’s Entertainment Center at approximately 1:42 a.m. Security personnel alerted officers to a disturbance inside the venue. Upon entering, officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent knife wound. Due to the large crowd, additional officers were requested to help secure the scene.
A second adult male with knife-related injuries was also located. Officers provided medical aid to both individuals until EMS arrived. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the other was transported to a local hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
The Fort Wayne Police Homicide Unit, Crime Scene Management, and the Air Support Unit were called to assist with the investigation. Detectives are reviewing security footage and interviewing witnesses.
