FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Voters in the Northwest Allen County Schools have rejected a referendum.
NACS officials say the funding would have helped them overcome revenue losses from the state when lawmakers passed the budget. Superintendent Wayne Barker says they are disappointed by the results, but “respect the decision of our voters.”
The vote was 54-percent no, 46-percent yes.
