ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that the ramp from southbound I-69 to westbound U.S. 30 is closed for work.
Starting on or after September 19, crews will close southbound I-69 Exit 309B as part of ongoing concrete patching and joint repair on the interstate. The ramp will also be repaved during this closure. Construction is expected to last for one week.
INDOT released the following:
Drivers needing to access westbound U.S. 30 should continue south on I-69, exit at Exit 305 (State Road 14/Illinois Road), re-enter the interstate heading north and use northbound Exit 309B to connect with westbound U.S. 30, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
