ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that an exit ramp that is heavily traveled will close this week.
Starting on or after August 12, crews will close the off-ramp from southbound I-69 to State Road 14/Illinois Road (Exit 305) to complete concrete patching and joint repair on the interstate. Work on the project is expected to last for one week. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
INDOT released the following:
During the closure, drivers needing to access S.R. 14/Illinois Road from southbound I-69 should continue south on I-69, exit at U.S. 24/Jefferson Boulevard (Exit 302), then head north on I-69 and exit at S.R. 14/Illinois Road, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
