INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have arrested nearly 1,400 people in Indiana over the last 12 months.
The Deportation Data Project says that is up 80 percent.
More than 300 people were arrested by ICE in the state in June, and dozens of them had no prior convictions or criminal charges.
Governor Mike Braun issued an executive order in January encouraging state and local police to fully cooperate with ICE.
