The fittings are open to anyone interested in trying out a new instrument.

Each school year, thousands of students begin their journeys into making music. Ensuring they have the right instrument in their hands is a critical step toward success. Sweetwater is making that process easier for families by offering expert guidance and stress-free support.
Band and orchestra specialists will be available to help guide student musicians in choosing the right instrument on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5PM to 7PM for the first three weeks of August, as well as Saturday, August 16, from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Students will have the opportunity to explore various instrument options as they start their musical journeys. Parents can learn more about rental and purchase options, as well as the maintenance required for each instrument. As the largest music store in the country, Sweetwater offers higher-quality instruments and local repairs that other providers cannot match.
No appointment is necessary for these free sessions held on August 6, 7, 13, 14, 16, 20, and 21.
If none of the open times work, individuals can call (260) 482-5533 to schedule a private, 15-minute appointment.
