FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The City of Fort Wayne’s Public Works Division says it is moving forward with a neighborhood resurfacing plan for 2025.
The packages for the four quadrants in the City have received final approval from the Board of Public Works and City Council. The resurfacing packages total $5.2 million.
The resurfacing work is part of the City’s overall plan of $41.4 million in neighborhood infrastructure projects this year.
Since 2014, in partnership with the City Council, the City says it has invested more than $382 million in neighborhood infrastructure enhancements.
“Neighborhoods and people continue to be a top priority as I’ve long been an advocate for the work overseen by the Public Works Division,” said Mayor Sharon Tucker. “A safe and efficient transportation system and infrastructure improvements that serve all users set us apart as a leading community that’s desired by individuals, families, and businesses.”
Over $5 million will be invested this year to improve streets across Fort Wayne. Read more: https://bit.ly/4jRQhsf
