FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The 2025 Neighborhoods 101 Workshops are now scheduled, and residents can register for the first session that takes place on Thursday, May 29, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the main branch of the Allen County Public Library.
Workshop 1 is titled “How to Serve on Boards and Commissions,” and will be led by Connie Haas Zuber, president of the Fort Wayne Plan Commission and past executive director of ARCH.
“These free workshops are interactive and designed to give neighborhood leaders practical information and hands-on learning so they can take action on projects that improve their community,” said Réna Bradley, City of Fort Wayne neighborhood planner.

Workshop 2: Board Governance, Thursday, June 26, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., ACPL Main Branch
Workshop 3: Fundraising Preparation, Thursday, July 24, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., ACPL Main Branch
Workshop 4: Fundraising Basics, Thursday, August 28, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., ACPL Main Branch
Workshop 5: Funding Opportunities, Friday, September 12 during the Inspire Conference at Electric Works with time to be determined
Workshop 6: Conflict Management, Wednesday, October 29, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., ACPL Main Branch
Dinner will be provided at the workshops held at the Allen County Public Library.
