FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Humane Fort Wayne is launching its Wellness Clinic at a new location, 901 Leesburg Road, after previously operating at the organization’s Maycrest Drive facility. The Wellness Clinic provides affordable services such as routine exams, vaccinations, microchipping, nail trims, basic testing, and preventative medications.
With the move, the Wellness Clinic will increase its operating hours from 30 to 40 hours per week. Starting January 6, 2025, the clinic will offer walk-in services on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday by appointment from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Surgery Clinic, which offers low-cost spay and neuter services, will continue to operate by appointment at 1333 Maycrest Drive.
The group moved into its new 25,000-square-foot facility at 901 Leesburg Road in the summer of 2024, with its animal shelter opening in September 2024.

On Monday, January 6, 2025, Humane Fort Wayne will open its Wellness Clinic at their new facility at 901 Leesburg Road. The Wellness Clinic was formerly housed at the organization’s Maycrest Drive location.
Humane Fort Wayne’s Wellness Clinic provides affordable care and services including routine exams, vaccinations, microchips, nail trims, basic testing and preventative medications.

Our Wellness Clinic already serves more than 13,000 cats and dogs each year, and this change will help us make quality, affordable veterinary care accessible for even more pets in 2025,” says Jessica Henry-Johnson, Executive Director.
Along with the move, the Wellness Clinic will expand its open hours from 30 hours a week to 40. Starting Monday, January 6, 2025, the Wellness Clinic will offer Walk-In services on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm and Wednesday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Saturday hours will be 8:00am to 12:00pm by appointment only.
