STEUBEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is trying to find a fugitive and they are asking for the public’s help.
Officials say Tyron Jackson fled the county on August 24th and is wanted for felony sexual conduct with a minor, domestic battery, invasion of privacy, and not appearing in court for domestic battery. They say he may have gone to Tallahassee, Florida where he has connections.
Police say that he does wear glasses and may have grown a beard.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assisting with locating a wanted fugitive. 48-year-old Tyron Curtis Jackson fled Steuben County on or about August 24, 2024. He has ties to Tallahassee, Florida, and is believed too possibly be there. Jackson is described as a black male 5’6” weighing approximately 178 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. He does wear glasses and was last known to have a beard.
Jackson is currently wanted out of Steuben County for misdemeanor Domestic Battery, misdemeanor Invasion of Privacy, 2 counts of Level 3 felony Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, and 1 count Failure to Appear on Domestic Battery.
