River levels to be adjusted for stormwater maintenance

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Beginning Monday, December 2, 2024, will open the gate at the Hosey Dam, lowering the river levels so crews can perform essential upkeep on stormwater outfalls.

City Utilities says that work will take about a month to complete. After the maintenance and inspections are completed, the gate will be closed, bringing river levels back up for recreational use.
