INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – A new survey from a conservative-linked pollster shows “overwhelming” support among Indiana residents for the legalization of cannabis.
The survey was published by Safe and Regulated Indiana, a new coalition pushing for cannabis reforms in Indiana. The group says 70 percent of people either strongly or somewhat support legalizing marijuana use for people 21 and older, while just 27 percent oppose the idea.
Indiana is surrounded by Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan with legalized marijuana use and Kentucky to the south has legalized medical marijuana.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – An organization called Safe and Regulated Indiana is calling for legalized marijuana in the state.
The group is backed by Republicans including former Indiana Republican Party Director Joe Elsener, who says Hoosiers deserve access to the drug. Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan all have approved recreational marijuana for people 21 and older.
