FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Lighthouse, a “faith-based program providing a safe place for those in our community who struggle with life and life’s problems”, is hosting an event Thursday to mark International Overdose Awareness Day with an awareness event.

The Lighthouse is happy to announce our #BeAware campaign to bring awareness to our community about the threats and consequences of illegal drug use. On August 31st, come by The Lighthouse Community Center at 3000 E. State Blvd. to pick up a free #BeAware bracelet and Narcan nasal spray applicator to show your support and bring awareness to the overdose crisis in our community.
While at the Community Center, you will have the opportunity to access materials for self-education, learn what recovery resources are available, and connect with others who understand the devastating effects of addiction. August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day and by participating in The Lighthouse #BeAware campaign, you are showing your
dedication and support of the recovery efforts that save lives in our community.
