ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – INDOT has announced a temporary I-69 entrance ramp closure as part of ongoing construction.
Starting on or after October 21, the entrance ramp from eastbound U.S. 24/Jefferson Boulevard to southbound I-69 will close. Crews will be completing concrete patching and joint repair on the interstate. The closure is expected to last for approximately one week. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use northbound I-69, use the State Road 14/Illinois Road exit and then re-enter the interstate heading south, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
