Tears For Fears revealed that they are releasing their first live album, Songs For A Nervous Planet, via Concord Music on October 25. The live recordings are drawn from the UK synth-pop legends’ recent tour supporting their 2022 Billboard Top 10 record, The Tipping Point. “We’ve never released an official live album, so you could say this is an album forty years in the making,” says the band’s guitarist and singer Roland Orzabal. Songs For A Nervous Planet includes live renditions of celebrated hits like, “Shout,” “Head Over Heels” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” along with four brand new studio recordings, “Say Goodbye To Mum And Dad,” “Emily Said,” “Astronaut,” and new single, “The Girl That I Call Home.” The band will also be releasing, Tears For Fears Live (A Tipping Point Film), a concert movie shot during their 2023 performance at Graystone Quarry in Franklin, Tennessee, which will premiere in theaters worldwide on October 24 and October 26.
