FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A man wanted for a shooting in Fort Wayne Friday has been arrested.
Police say 37-year-old Roddrick Gale was arrested Wednesday. He is accused of firing the shot that injured someone in the 3200 block of Clinton Court last Friday afternoon.
Gale is charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery.

The Fort Wayne Police Department would like to make the public aware that the Attempt to Locate on Roddrick Gale 37yo has been cancelled. Roddrick Gale who is the suspect in the attempted murder that occurred in the 3200 block of Clinton Ct on 01/12/2024 was taken into custody. Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives conducted the criminal investigation and Roddrick has preliminarily been charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery and an unrelated Felony Battery Warrant. Roddrick is currently confined at the Allen County Jail. The Fort Wayne Homicide Unit was assisted on this investigation by Gang and Violent Crime Unit Detectives, FWPD Uniform Officers and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office. The Fort Wayne Police Department would like to thank the public for their cooperation and the tips received in reference to this investigation.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Officials with the Fort Wayne Police Department are looking for a man described as armed and dangerous. The FWPD says that Roddrick A. Gale, 37, is wanted on an attempted murder charge. He is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 215 pounds with a muscular build. Police sent out a public safety alert Friday that said Gale was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and he is likely on foot
Gale is wanted in connection to the shooting that occurred Friday morning in the 3200 block of Clinton Court. He is wanted on preliminary charges of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, and a level 5 Battery Warrant.
The FWPD said anyone who sees Gale should not approach him and should call 911.
