DEKALB CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a crash that injured two people in DeKalb County Monday night.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says that an F-250 truck driven by Kelsey MaCadory Bates, 30, of Spencerville, Indiana was going east on County Road 34 from County Road 63 when he lost control and hit a dirt berm. The impact caused the pickup to roll over.
The front-seat passenger was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and is said to be in stable condition. Bates was also taken to a hospital after later complaining of pain.
The DeKalb Co. Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Butler Police Department, Butler Fire Department, Parkview EMS, and DeKalb Central Communications.
