INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana’s former state superintendent says state and federal leaders need to do more to make schools safe.
Former superintendent of public education Jennifer McCormick yesterday reacted to the school shooting in Texas.
McCormick said school resource officers are necessary and said schools in Indiana and across the country need to have active shooter plans in place.
McCormick says the shooting in Texas should be another wake-up call for all schools.
